Group Therapy

For Children, Teenagers, & Adults

There are some skills in life that are better learned as a group than alone. Group Therapy is a wonderful way to meet others and strengthen life and emotional intelligence. Everyone can benefit from it. Below is a list of group therapy currently offered (Please note that groups are split up by age groups)

Social Skills (Children)

This social skills group will assist children with learning the skills necessary to function well in society. Anger management and social skills will be addressed, and children will have the opportunity to practice the skills being taught.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Group (Children, Teenagers & Adults)

Focus of group is to learn and use skills and strategies to develop a life which each individual experiences as worth living. The DBT skills are mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and emotion regulation.

Anger Management (Children, Teenagers, & Adults)

This group assists individuals with addressing the things which make them angry as they learn to control their actions.
